The past decade of improvements to trans health care in Saskatchewan have been facilitated by the need to comply with human rights legislation. Gender identity was not listed as a “protected ground” under the Saskatchewan Code of Human Rights until December of 2014. How were these rights achieved? A panel including some of the people involved in that struggle will discuss how this came about, some of the strategy of the Time 4 Rights campaign, and the key players, with a focus on the trans activists who were central to this struggle.

NOTE: This presentation will be recorded.
