CLAIRE (SHE/HER)

Executive Director

Claire is a proud Saskatchewan trans woman from Yorkton, in Treaty 4 Territory. Claire has a BFA from the U of R, and brings nearly a decade of experience working in the province’s non-profit sector, most recently serving as the Program Manager with the Yorkton Film Festival. When she isn’t working, Claire can most likely be found reading books, watching cooking and design videos, or being roped into yet another D&D campaign.

ELI (HE/HIM)

Systems Navigator

Elijah was born, raised and is living in Saskatoon on Treaty 6 land. He is a graduate from the Medical Office Assistant program and is currently the Saskatoon & North Navigator. Eli is passionate about gender affirming care and reducing barriers for community members. When he is not in the office you can find him kayaking, hanging out with this cats or doing a puzzle. 

 

KEN (HE/HIM)

Systems Navigator

Ken is a white settler born, raised, and living on Treaty 4 land (Regina, SK). He brings both professional and lived experience into his health navigator role. Ken is passionate about science and health. Unlike his colleagues, Ken is not a pet person, but he finds joy in books, baking bread, beaches, & biking!

 

JADE (SHE/HER/ELLE/LA)

Education Navigator

Jade is a Trans Woman dedicated to centering Abolition in her practice while at Trans Sask. You can find her helping the Trans Navigation Team with cultivating educational management plans to ensure programming is meaningful and purposeful¸ for the communities we serve. Outside of work, Jade enjoys dancing, reading, and daydreaming.

 

CAT (SHE/HER)

Navigation Coordinator

Cat is a neuroqueer trans woman, a politically charged dyke, and an academic/activist/artist weirdo. Since moving back to Saskatchewan in 2016, she has been actively involved with organizing and supporting direct action and mutual aid around a variety of issues, including advocating for increased access to healthcare and justice for trans people. Cat is also an artist, primairely working with the mediums of painting, interview, soundscape/drone, and zines.

RÄE (THEY/THEM)

Symposium Organizer

Räe is a gender queer trans non-binary person. They grew up on Treaty 13 ( Toronto) and spent a decade travelling the world before making a home and having their family on Treaty 6. For over two decades they worked as a Birth Attendant and Massage Therapists. In the last few years the main focus of their practice was Trans Health Care.  Providing treatments for surgical scar tissue, as well as issues relating to queer/ trans fertility education and support. 

They have been involved in several aspects of community work in the province. One of their main passions have been creating and running recovery groups for Trans/ queers folks and sober events in queer spaces like Saskatoon Pride. 

They are a cold water enthusiast, they can be found swimming in the south Saskatchewan river all year long or playing with their children and connecting with their polycule.

AMBROSE (HE/HIM)

Symposium Organizer

Ambrose is a transmasculine activist born and raised on Treaty 4 Land in Regina. He utilizes his diploma in Graphic Communications to bring inclusivity and accessibility to 2SLGBTQIA+ spaces in Saskatchewan through a fun lens. In his free time, you can find Ambrose designing posters, thrifting or watching horror movies.
