In my session, I’d love to share my experiences as a queer SW’er within Edmonton. I will include how I got started, the thoughts and feelings behind being non-binary in a typically hyper-femme position, and where I am today. I want to share how I have navigated the erotic laborer role while also learning about my own gender and sexuality along the way. I will have key points about the highs and low of sex work and how much support I received from both my queer community and my sex work community. My session will talk about finding my non-profit (ANSWER Society) and how that changed my direction within my job and finding what makes me feel good to offer and provide to clients, while also taking care of myself.
