Lex Edmunds (Co-Chair)
Lex is a Two-Spirit trans masculine person who can usually be found beading in a library or reading in a coffee shop. He was born and raised in Treaty 6 and is very invested in local queer communities. Lex firmly believes that gender and sexually diverse people should be not only accepted, but celebrated. He is currently studying librarianship and Psychology at Usask.
Mel Spady (Co-Chair)
Mel Spady is a non-binary trans person living in Treaty 6 Territory, and was born in the unceded territory of the Coast Salish people. They are a white disabled writer and student, who believes in a better future for all. They live with their partner and two adventurous cats, Ralphie and Bean.
Jenn Bergen (Treasurer)
Jenn was born and raised in Treaty 6 / rural Saskatchewan, and loves big prairie skies. They hold a B.Ed. and MPA from the University of Regina, and a Ph.D. from the University of Ottawa. Jenn has led and worked for a number of social and environmental justice organizations, and currently teaches in the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Education. When they aren’t learning, writing, or crafting, you can catch them in one of Saskatoon’s parks with their dog, McCoy.
Ken is a queer trans guy from Treaty 4 land, Regina, SK. He recently graduated and became a Registered Dietitian. Ken works as a Trans Health Navigator with UR Pride, OUTSaskatoon, and the University of Saskatchewan.
Bobbisue is a supporter of equal rights for all and am against the marginalization of any group.
